Vairagya works with makers, artisans, manufacturers, and brands producing exceptional sound healing instruments and related products.

Our vendor program provides an opportunity for selected products to become part of the Vairagya collection and reach an established audience of sound healing practitioners, educators, studios, wellness businesses, and individual practitioners.

Sound

For instruments, the actual acoustic experience is fundamental. Specifications matter, but so does the sound itself.

Materials

We look for clear and accurate information about the materials used and how they contribute to the product.

Design

Form and function should work together. A product should have a reason for being in the collection.

We consider the way a product is made, the materials behind it, its sound, construction, consistency, sourcing, presentation, and the experience it creates in practice. For instruments, acoustic characteristics are particularly important.

We work with different types of producers. We want to understand where a product comes from, how it is made, and who makes it.

Depending on the product, evaluation may include tonal quality, resonance, sustain, responsiveness, frequency, pitch, harmonic character, construction, and consistency between pieces. A submission may be evaluated across areas including:

Consistency

Products intended for ongoing supply need to maintain an appropriate level of quality and consistency from one production run to the next. We want to make sure of that with every product.

Authenticity

Products should be accurately represented. Handmade should mean handmade. Traditional should have a genuine basis. Specifications and claims should be supportable.

Integrity

Some products may come from individual artisans working in traditional environments. Others may come from established manufacturers with structured production facilities. What matters is what it produces.
