486 Hz Crown Chakra Full Moon Singing Bowl

$510.00

A clear, expansive Crown Chakra singing bowl crafted during the Full Moon, tuned to 486 Hz within a 432 Hz system, and created for meditation, contemplation, spiritual reflection, stillness, lunar rituals, intention-setting, and sound healing.

The 486 Hz Crown Chakra Full Moon Singing Bowl corresponds to the note B within this 432 Hz tuning system and is traditionally associated with the Crown Chakra (Sahasrara). In contemporary chakra-based sound practices, the Crown Chakra is associated with stillness, contemplation, spiritual awareness, connection, perspective, and a sense of openness beyond the individual self.

This bowl brings those themes into the rhythm of the Full Moon. Each Full Moon bowl is crafted during the Full Moon, connecting the creation of the instrument to a recurring point in the lunar cycle. The Full Moon is commonly used in contemporary rituals as a time for reflection, illumination, completion, release, gratitude, and setting intentions for the cycle ahead.

For the Crown Chakra, that makes the Full Moon an opportunity to ask not only what you want to release, but what you are ready to understand more deeply, what perspective you are ready to expand, and what you want to create space for in the next cycle.

Each bowl begins with raw material and passes through an extensive traditional craftsmanship process. The metal is repeatedly heated, shaped, formed, refined, finished, and tuned by hand. Throughout the process, it is worked and adjusted thousands of times to bring its size, thickness, weight, shape, note, frequency, and resonance into balance.

The result is an individual traditional Himalayan metal singing bowl with its own tonal character. When played, the bowl produces a fundamental tone together with harmonics and overtones, creating a layered resonance that continues to evolve as the sound moves through the space.

Made using Ancient Traditional Metal Alloy, this instrument belongs to the traditional Tibetan/Himalayan metal singing-bowl tradition. Crystal singing bowls and other modern sound instruments represent a different category of instrument and are not part of this traditional metal-bowl method.

The bowl follows the collection's 432 Hz reference system, with 486 Hz represented by B and associated with the Crown Chakra within this contemporary framework.

Within this seven-frequency 432 Hz system, each bowl corresponds to a specific note and chakra:

  • 256 Hz — C — Root Chakra

  • 288 Hz — D — Sacral Chakra

  • 324 Hz — E — Solar Plexus Chakra

  • 364.5 Hz — F — Heart Chakra

  • 384 Hz — G — Throat Chakra

  • 432 Hz — A — Third Eye Chakra

  • 486 Hz — B — Crown Chakra

At 486 Hz, the Crown Chakra bowl occupies the seventh and final position in the sequence and corresponds to the note B.

Within contemporary chakra practices, the Crown Chakra is traditionally connected with stillness, contemplation, spiritual awareness, perspective, connection, and openness.

In a Full Moon practice, these associations can become a framework for contemplation and expanded perspective. Rather than simply asking what you want to let go of, you can use the ritual to step back, reflect on what the cycle has taught you, and consider what you want to make space for in the next one.

Crafted During the Full Moon

Every Full Moon Chakra Singing Bowl is made during the Full Moon.

Each bowl begins with raw material and moves through numerous stages of traditional craftsmanship.

The metal is repeatedly heated, shaped, formed, refined, finished, and tuned by hand. Throughout the process, it is worked and adjusted thousands of times to bring the intended physical and tonal characteristics into balance.

The craftspeople work toward:

Size + Thickness + Weight + Shape + Note + Frequency + Resonance

Achieving the intended frequency is therefore only one part of the process. The physical construction of the bowl influences how the note is expressed, how long it resonates, and how it responds when played.

This extensive hands-on process gives each bowl an individual voice.

Sound, Meditation & the Science

Research into singing bowls has expanded in recent years.

A 2025 systematic review published in Integrative Medicine Research examined 19 clinical studies involving singing-bowl interventions. The review identified potential benefits involving anxiety, depression, sleep quality, cognitive function, EEG findings, and physiological measures. The researchers also noted substantial differences between studies and called for additional high-quality research.

A separate 2025 systematic review published in Healthcare examined 14 quantitative studies specifically involving Tibetan singing bowls. Most studies reported improvements in measures including anxiety, depressive symptoms, wellbeing, quality of life, heart-rate variability, and heart rate, while the researchers emphasized limitations in the existing evidence.

Earlier research has also explored Himalayan singing bowls in relaxation settings. A 2014 randomized crossover study involving 51 participants found greater reductions in heart rate and systolic blood pressure when a Himalayan singing bowl preceded directed relaxation compared with silence.

Together, this research suggests that singing bowls may have value as tools that support relaxation, meditation, stress reduction, and psychological wellbeing.

However, this research does not establish that 486 Hz specifically affects the Crown Chakra, nor does it demonstrate that Full Moon crafting produces an additional therapeutic effect.

The chakra and lunar associations are therefore presented as ritual and contemporary wellness frameworks, while the scientific literature provides context for the broader use of singing bowls in sound and meditation practices.
