256 Hz Root Chakra Full Moon Singing Bowl
$540.00
A handmade Root Chakra singing bowl crafted during the Full Moon, tuned to 256 Hz within a 432 Hz system, and created for grounding rituals, lunar ceremonies, meditation, intention-setting, release practices, and sound healing.
The 256 Hz Root Chakra Full Moon Singing Bowl corresponds to the note C within this 432 Hz tuning system and is traditionally associated with the Root Chakra (Muladhara). In contemporary chakra-based sound practices, the Root Chakra represents grounding, stability, physical presence, embodiment, and a sense of foundation.
But this is more than a frequency-specific singing bowl. Each Full Moon bowl is made during the Full Moon, making the lunar cycle part of the instrument's story and intended ritual use. The Full Moon has long been observed as a meaningful point in the lunar cycle and is widely incorporated into contemporary practices of reflection, meditation, ceremony, gratitude, release, and intention-setting.
The bowl begins as raw material and passes through an extensive traditional making process. The metal is repeatedly heated, shaped, formed, refined, finished, and tuned by hand. Across the process, it is worked and adjusted thousands of times to bring its size, thickness, weight, shape, note, frequency, and resonance into balance.
This is not mass-produced metalware. Every bowl is individually developed through repeated hands-on craftsmanship. Its physical form influences how it responds when played, creating an individual voice with a fundamental tone, harmonics, overtones, sustain, and resonance.
Made using Ancient Traditional Metal Alloy, this instrument belongs to the traditional Tibetan/Himalayan metal singing-bowl tradition. Crystal singing bowls and other modern sound instruments represent a different category of sound instrument and are not part of this traditional metal-bowl method.
The bowl follows the collection's 432 Hz reference system, with 256 Hz represented by C and associated with the Root Chakra within this contemporary chakra framework. Its purpose is not simply to produce a particular frequency, but to provide a tangible sound instrument around which a grounding ritual can be built.

Within this seven-frequency 432 Hz system, each bowl corresponds to a specific note and chakra:
256 Hz — C — Root Chakra
288 Hz — D — Sacral Chakra
324 Hz — E — Solar Plexus Chakra
364.5 Hz — F — Heart Chakra
384 Hz — G — Throat Chakra
432 Hz — A — Third Eye Chakra
486 Hz — B — Crown Chakra
At 256 Hz, the Root Chakra bowl begins the seven-frequency sequence and corresponds to the note C.
Within contemporary chakra sound practices, the Root Chakra is traditionally associated with grounding, stability, physical awareness, and a sense of foundation. This makes 256 Hz a natural starting point for a Full Moon ritual focused on becoming present before moving into reflection, release, or intention-setting.
Crafted During the Full Moon
The defining characteristic of this collection is its lunar provenance.
Each bowl is made during the Full Moon.
Every bowl begins with raw material and passes through multiple stages of traditional craftsmanship.
The metal is repeatedly heated, shaped, formed, refined, finished, and tuned. Throughout the process, it is worked and adjusted thousands of times to bring the intended physical and tonal characteristics into balance.
The craftspeople work toward:
Size + Thickness + Weight + Shape + Note + Frequency + Resonance
The frequency is therefore only one element of the finished instrument. The dimensions and physical form of the bowl influence how the tone is expressed and how the instrument resonates.
This extensive hands-on process gives each bowl its individual character.
Sound, Meditation & the Science
Research into singing bowls has grown considerably in recent years.
A 2025 systematic review published in Integrative Medicine Research examined 19 clinical studies involving singing-bowl interventions. The review found potential benefits involving anxiety, depression, sleep quality, cognitive function, EEG findings, and physiological measures, while also emphasizing substantial variation between studies and the need for additional high-quality research.
A second 2025 systematic review published in Healthcare focused specifically on Tibetan singing bowls and examined 14 quantitative studies. Most included studies reported improvements in areas such as anxiety, depressive symptoms, wellbeing, quality of life, heart-rate variability, and heart rate. The researchers likewise emphasized limitations in the current evidence.
Earlier research has also explored Himalayan singing bowls in relaxation settings. A 2014 randomized crossover study involving 51 participants found greater reductions in heart rate and systolic blood pressure when a Himalayan singing bowl preceded directed relaxation compared with silence.
The research therefore provides a growing basis for exploring singing bowls as tools that may support relaxation, meditation, stress reduction, and psychological wellbeing.
It does not establish that 256 Hz specifically heals the Root Chakra. It also does not establish that making a bowl during the Full Moon gives it additional physical or therapeutic properties.
Those elements belong to the ritual framework of the collection, while the research provides context for the broader use of singing bowls in sound and meditation practices.
